GENERAL COMMENTS

Moderate to strong buyer support is developing across the cattle complex Thursday morning. Traders are focusing on the recent pressure in the complex, moving prices to an oversold position, with late week buying expected to redevelop before the long holiday weekend. Lean hog futures remain under pressure in nearby contracts. Corn futures are trading higher in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading lower. Dow Jones Index is 85 points lower, while Nasdaq is down 15 points.
