GENERAL COMMENTS

Livestock futures are mixed to lower early Thursday with a sense of stability trying to gain a foothold across the cattle complex while lean hog markets continue to hold strong triple-digit losses just before opening bell. Corn futures are trading higher in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading higher. Dow Jones Index is 46 points higher, while Nasdaq is up 2 points.
