GENERAL COMMENTS

Moderate to strong pressure is expected to redevelop through the entire livestock market following weakness seen in overnight trade. The lack of support in meat values and erosion of cash prices over the recent past could lead to additional liquidation in both cattle and hog contracts. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading lower. Dow Jones Index is 8 points lower, while Nasdaq is down 2 points.
