GENERAL COMMENTS

Cattle futures are pointing to a lower open with the main focus on building pressure in the live cattle futures market. Early support in lean hog futures is building, allowing for additional short covering following the triple-digit losses Tuesday. Corn futures are trading higher in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading lower. Dow Jones Index is 10 points lower, while Nasdaq is down 6 points.
