Although cash cattle trade will have to surface sometime today, cattle buyers appear to be in no hurry. Early bids are few and far between with just a few signs of buying interest in parts of the North at $258-259. Asking prices remain firm at $168-170 in the South and $265-270 in the North. Hog buyers have been seen in the early going with bids steady to 0.50 lower than Thursday.
