OMAHA (DTN) -- October lean hog futures hit $3 gains at midday, but were unable to remain locked at limit-high levels due to lack of trade volume keeping buyer interest still limited. But the surge in hog futures has continued to draw late day support into the cattle complex as traders focus on end-of-week and month positioning before the holiday weekend.
