GENERAL COMMENTS:

Light to moderate cattle trading surfaced again in the North with dressed sales generally ranging from $244-$245, steady to $1 lower than the bottom of Tuesday's range and $6-$7 lower than last week. Kansas reported several thousand steers and heifers sold late at $155, roughly $5 lower than last week. According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base is $2.97 lower compared with the Prior Day settlement ($100.00-$110.74, weighted average $107.46).
