GENERAL COMMENTS:

According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base closed 0.62 higher compared with the Prior Day settlement ($108.00-According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base closed $1.12 higher compared with the Prior Day settlement ($109.00 to $121.00, weighted average $119.16). Corn futures closed steady to higher, up 2 3/4 cents in the July, up 1 1/2 cents in the September and unchanged in the December.
