I don't mean to be disrespectful to this long-gone commission hound. In his day, Don was a great friend to our family and a keen judge of cattle flesh. Those were two reasons why "Mertzie" always carried a standing order from Harrington Feed Yards for a pot or two of yearlings, just in case he should stumble upon something "he liked."
