Tonight I had dinner with Dr. Maurice Doyon of Laval University in Quebec City. Dr. Doyon and I are speaking together as part of the Farm Credit Canada learning tour. He was speaking on the Canadian economy and I was talking about farmland prices across southern Ontario. I asked him what his specialty was in the field of economics and one thing he told me was "experimental economics".
