Micro-Markets Offer Big Opportunities

Fifth-generation Indiana farmer Neil Moseley is working the family land, just not the way his father and grandfather did with crops and livestock.

Moseley and his wife, Tashney, launched Pleasant Acre Farms, in Clarks Hill, Ind., in 2009. Their naturally grown produce operation uses small parcels of family-owned land, places where it was difficult to operate large machinery.
