LANGDON, Mo. (DTN) -- View from the Cab farmers Karen Johnson of Avoca, Iowa, and Jamie Harris of Madison, Fla., are crop production powerhouses. Just as important, Americans like Jamie and Karen also represent stored knowledge of farming and agriculture, amassed over time by generations of U.S. family farmers and ranchers.

Karen revealed to DTN that experience can be valuable for more than just farming, especially when it comes to good hiding places. "The grandkids went hunting for Easter eggs. They always have me hide some," she said.
