In a world greased by the rhythms of social media -- texting, tweeting, Facebook and YouTube -- with blogs, Instagram (photo sharing), Pinterest (theme-based collections) and Snapchat (photo messaging), the capacity to communicate grows by the day, maybe even by the hour.
