Monsanto, Novozymes Team Up

LAWRENCE, KAN. (DTN) -- Microbes, the tiny microorganisms that teem invisibly in every part of the world, are poised to become a more prominent feature in agricultural products, from pesticides to seed inoculants.

Monsanto and Novozymes, a Danish-based biotechnology company that specializes in the production of microbes and enzymes, are teaming up to introduce more microbial products into agriculture in the coming decade.
