LANGDON, Mo. (DTN) -- For View From the Cab farmers Kane Bercaw of Union City, Mich., and William "Shep" Sheppard of Louisiana, Mo., last week's difficult farm conditions can be summed up in a single word: wet.

It's not just about muddy soil. Row-crop corn is still relatively high moisture, testing in the mid-20s on both farms -- maybe higher. "We have some 115-day corn in front of the house I tested on Wednesday. It's still at 30%," Shep told DTN. "We don't like to shell corn much wetter than 22%," he added. Neighbors ...
