DTN Midday Livestock Comments

Livestock futures are generally lower Friday morning with consistent active losses seen in lean hog futures, and cattle futures prices bouncing all over the place. Limited trade interest on the first day of November will likely keep prices under pressure at closing bell. Corn futures are mixed at midday. December corn futures are 1/2 cent per bushel lower. Stock markets are mixed in light trade. The Dow Jones is 26 points higher while Nasdaq is down 6 points.
