DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

OMAHA (DTN) -- Retail fertilizer prices are still shifting lower, according to fertilizer prices tracked by DTN for the second week of September. Some retailers report fertilizer price declines may not be over yet.

All eight of the major fertilizers prices slipped from the second week of August with all but one fertilizer seeing significant price declines.

UAN32 was down 9% compared to last month with 10-34-0, potash and UAN28 all down 7%. UAN32 had average price of $374/ton, potash $517/ton, 10-34-0 $545/ton and UAN28 $334/ton.
