DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

OMAHA (DTN) -- Retail fertilizer prices showed notable declines again the third week of August, according to data tracked by DTN. All eight of the major fertilizers recorded lower prices from last month, and six of the eight had significant decreases in price.

Urea was down 11% compared to the third week of July and had an average price of $489 per ton. Both anhydrous and UAN28 declined 8% from last month with anhydrous having an average price of $697 per ton and UAN28 $348 per ton.
