GENERAL COMMENTS:

Lean hog futures are turning sharply lower once again with traders focusing on the potential that all the focus on tight supplies may be overstated. This market is expected to remain extremely volatile over the near future with perceptions of supplies and product realities possibly being totally different. But this has not limited aggressive selling over the last week that is continuing Tuesday. Cattle futures have turned lower following feeder cattle's inability to sustain strong early gains.
