GENERAL COMMENTS:

End-of-week positioning and meat market uncertainty has allowed futures prices to erode through morning trade. Feeder cattle futures are showing the most pressure with traders looking for additional direction from the cattle on feed report which will be released later in the afternoon. Corn futures are higher at midday. July corn futures are 1 cent per bushel higher. Stock markets are higher in light trade. The Dow Jones is 38 points higher while Nasdaq is up 2 points.
