GENERAL COMMENTS:

Mixed trade is seen through the livestock market, which is characterized Friday morning by light lackluster trade. Lean hog futures are mixed in a wide price range which is limiting the consistency through the complex, while cattle futures have bounced higher at midday. Back-and-forth movement across the complex is expected to be seen until closing bell. Corn futures are lower at midday. May corn futures are 3 cents per bushel lower. Stock markets are mixed in light trade. The Dow Jones is 2 points higher while Nasdaq is down 3 points.
