GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures remain mixed in light ranges. Lean hog futures are gaining some support, as deferred futures are gaining addition interest form noncommercial buyers. But the tone of the market remains sluggish and could see limited active trade through the end of the session. Corn futures are lower at midday. December corn futures are 1 cent per bushel lower. Stock markets are mixed in light trade. The Dow Jones is 3 points lower while Nasdaq is up 6 points.
