GENERAL COMMENTS:

Trade remains sluggish through livestock futures Thursday morning. Traders appear to have most of the end of the month position squaring done that is expected to take place. Corn futures are lower at midday. December corn futures are 2 cents per bushel lower. Stock markets are mixed in light trade. The Dow Jones is 3 points lower while Nasdaq is up 7 points.
