DTN Midday Livestock Comments

GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are mostly higher at midday with lean hog futures shaking off early pressure to focus on mixed narrow trade ranges. Feeder cattle futures are sharply higher, drawing additional interest into the complex. Corn futures are lower at midday. December corn futures are 4 cents lower at midday. Stock markets are higher in light trade. The Dow Jones is 244 points higher while Nasdaq is up 74 points.
