Cash cattle traders appear to be in no hurry to start the ball rolling at midday. Scattered bids have been reported at $117 in the South and $190-$192 in the North, but such efforts remain far away from asking prices of $121-$122 in the South and $196-plus in the North. Look for light to moderate business sometime this afternoon once buyers and sellers find some compromise both can live with.
