In a couple days we will have completed the October pricing average for crop insurance. With a sideways market since the loss of government reports, the $4.44 area seems reasonable for the average unless prices drop significantly in the next three trading days. The catch-up reports by Oct. 31 may or may not cause that to happen. Regardless, we are in the ballpark within a few cents for corn.
