General Comments:

Corn closed down 8 1/4 cents in the September and down 8 3/4 cents in the December. Soybeans closed up 2 cents in the August and down 8 3/4 cents in the November. Wheat closed 18 1/2 cents lower in the September Chicago, 15 1/4 cents lower in the September Kansas City, and 6 3/4 cents lower in the September Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is .03 higher at 80.60. August gold is down $7.40 at $1,309.50 while September silver is down .24 and September copper is down $0.0375.
