General Comments:

Corn closed up 14 1/4 cents in the September contract and up 7 3/4 cents in the December. Soybeans closed up 23 3/4 cents in the September and up 13 1/2 cents in the November. Wheat closed up 3 1/4 cents in the December Chicago contract, up 2 1/2 cents in the December Kansas City, and down 3 1/4 cents in the December Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is up .46 at 81.40. December gold is down $4.90 at $1,367.70 while September silver is down $.12 and September copper is down $.0195.
