General Comments:

Corn closed 11 1/2 cents lower in the September and down 3 1/4 cents in the December. Soybeans closed 26 3/4 cents lower in the August and 11 cents lower in the November. Wheat closed 2 1/2 cents higher in the September Chicago, unchanged in the September Kansas City, and 1/2 cent lower in the September Minneapolis.

The September U.S. dollar index is .46 lower at 81.97. December gold is down $1.30 at $1,309.90 while September silver is up $.25 and September copper is up $0.0040. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is 12 points lower at 15,616. September ...
