General Comments:

Corn closed down 11 1/2 cents in the September contract and down 12 cents in the December. Soybeans closed down 16 1/4 cents in the August and down 13 3/4 cents in the November. Wheat closed down 6 1/4 cents in the September Chicago contract, unchanged in the September Kansas City, and up 1/2 cent in the September Minneapolis.

The September U.S. dollar index is up .84 at 82.38. August gold is down $2.40 at $1,310.00 while September silver is $.01 lower and September copper is $.0480 higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is 140 points higher at ...
