General Comments:

Corn closed 4 cents lower in the September and down 2 3/4 cents in the December. Soybeans closed 5 1/2 cents lower in the August and 4 1/2 cents higher in the November. Wheat closed 1 cent higher in the September Chicago, 3/4 cent lower in the September Kansas City, and 1 1/4 cents lower in the September Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is .37 lower at 81.68. August gold is down $8.20 at $1,320.60 while September silver is down $.38 and September copper is down $0.0825.
