DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

OMAHA (DTN) -- The majority of retail fertilizer prices continue to be slightly higher the fourth week of May 2014 compared to last month, according to fertilizer retailers surveyed by DTN.

Five of the eight major fertilizers edged upward compared to a month earlier, but none were up with any significance. MAP had an average price of $631 per ton, potash $480/ton, 10-34-0 $559/ton, anhydrous $702/ton and UAN32 $406/ton.

Two fertilizers were slightly lower in price compared to last month, but the move was fairly minor. Urea had an average price of $551 per ton and DAP $596 per ton.
