DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

OMAHA (DTN) -- Retail fertilizer prices are seeing considerable declines, according to data tracked by DTN for the fifth week of July 2013. More than half of the eight major fertilizers registered significant prices drops.

Nitrogen fertilizers lost the most compared to last month. Anhydrous slid 12% compared to fourth week of June and had an average price of $716 per ton. Urea declined 8% from last month and had an average price of $506 per ton.
