In one of my favorite movies, "The Godfather: Part III," the Godfather is counseled with a bit of advice from a competing mobster: "Let me be your friend. Even the strongest man needs friends." Which begs the question: In a business with at least as many risks as La Cosa Nostra, should you as a farmer, have a formal peer group to advise you?
