Midwest Governors Seek Propane Help

STREATOR, Ill. (DTN) -- The Midwestern Governors Association wrote to President Barack Obama for assistance with propane deliveries to help relieve a supply crunch and high prices triggered by recent extreme cold weather.

"As governors of Midwestern states impacted by the recent extreme cold temperatures, we request your immediate assistance to address the current propane supply shortage and subsequent price increases," the letter from seven governors, dated Tuesday, Feb. 4, states.
