The unique Steiger Quadtrac—the four-track high-horsepower tractor that has been a symbol of Case IH power for decades—has slimmed down. At least its rubber tracks have. They have shrunk from 30 and 36 inches to 16, 18 and 24 inches so they fit more easily between rows. The result is a Steiger Rowtrac lineup that comes with 296-, 340- or 485-pto hp and has the flexibility and versatility to do more jobs.

All the Rowtrac engines are turbocharged and 6-cylinder. The smaller one displaces 8.7 liters. The larger hits 12.9 liters. Available power boost raises those horsepower numbers to maximums ...
