Strip-tilling soybeans into corn stover is really no different than strip-tilling corn into soybeans. It takes the same equipment with RTK guidance to prepare the 8-inch wide, 4-to-8-inch-deep berms that you can seed into next spring and also place a band of fertilizer in the zone below the berm.

In my opinion, the single most important thing a soybean producer can do is fertilize soybeans prior to planting.
