AMMONIA

Early in November, world ammonia market prices fell from $650 to $620 fob Yuzhnyy and remained steady the rest of the month. Weaker DAP pricing has reduced output from some producers, which reduced demand for ammonia. The market is getting some help on the supply side with gas supplies to Trinidad N producers returning to almost normal. Also, ammonia production at the new Lifeco plant in Libya is now running well.
