DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

OMAHA (DTN) -- The year-end input buying season is closing with a whimper: Retail fertilizer prices have remained relatively unmoved for weeks, according to prices tracked by DTN.

In DTN's latest national survey of retailers, all eight of the major fertilizers had lower prices from last month, but once again none showed a striking price drop.

For the fourth week of November, DAP averaged $517 per ton, MAP $557/ton, potash $486/ton and urea $439/ton. 10-34-0 was at $516/ton, anhydrous $645/ton, UAN28 $320/ton and UAN32 $365/ton

On a price per pound of nitrogen basis, the average urea price was at $0.48/lb.N, ...
