DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

OMAHA (DTN) -- Average retail fertilizer prices continued to climb higher the second week of February 2014, according to fertilizer retailers surveyed by DTN. All but one of the major fertilizers had higher prices compared to a month earlier.

Leading the way higher once again is urea. The nitrogen fertilizer was 9% higher compared to the previous month and now has an average price of $509 per ton.

The other fertilizers with noteworthy price changes to the high side were DAP, MAP, UAN28 and UAN32. DAP and MAP were both up 7% from last month while UAN28 and UAN32 were ...
