Weekly Corn Export Sales Bearish

OMAHA (DTN) -- This week's export sales report should be viewed as bearish for corn and neutral for soybeans and wheat, according to DTN Analyst Todd Hultman.

Weekly export sales of corn showed a total of 662,900 mt (26.1 mb) with net cancellations of 32,700 mt (-1.3 mb) for the 2013-2014 marketing year. This was below the 25,900 mt (1.0 mb) needed this week to stay on pace with USDA's demand projection of 1.920 bb. Weekly shipments of 1,002,700 mt (39.5 mb) were below the 1,949,200 mt (76.7 mb) needed this week. This report should be viewed as bearish, Hultman ...
