Grain Export Sales Mostly Neutral

OMAHA (DTN) -- This week's export sales report should be viewed as neutral to bearish for corn and neutral for soybeans and wheat, according to DTN Senior Analyst Darin Newsom.

Weekly export sales of corn showed a total of 32.3 mb (819,200 mt) with 3.9 mb (99,900 mt) for the 2013-2014 marketing year. Total sales were 1.918 bb, roughly on par with USDA's demand projection of 1.92 bb. Weekly shipments of 45.0 mb (1,144,300 mt) were below the 66.2 mb (1,680,800 mt) needed this week.
