MARKET SUMMARY

HRS closed 7 to 7 1/2 cents lower, corn ended 1/2 to 1 3/4 cents higher, soybeans finished 13 to 24 3/4 cents lower and canola closed $2.70 to $2.90 lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In early afternoon trade, the TSX was 3 points lower at 15,258, following modest weakness in U.S. markets. The TSX was 13 basis points lower at $.9130 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar index was .050 higher at 81.585. Gold was $1.20 higher at $1,311.70/ounce. WTI was trading 70 cents lower at $97.38/barrel, while Brent crude was $1.49 lower at $103.19/barrel.
