MARKET SUMMARY

HRS finished 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 cents lower, corn closed 4 1/2 to 5 cents higher, soybeans ended 11 1/2 lower to 30 cents higher and canola closed $5.50 to $5.80/mt lower.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In mid-day trade, the TSX equity index was 64 higher at 15,260, with U.S. markets also showing modest strength. The Canadian dollar was 35 basis points higher at $.9141 CAD/USD.
