U.S. WHEAT MARKET

According to DTN Grain Market Analyst Todd Hultman, "September Chicago wheat closed higher with chances for rain in the five-day forecast for the eastern Midwest, interrupting harvest progress. Overall, North America's wheat crops appear to be doing well. The Wheat Quality Council's Hard Red Spring Wheat Tour covered 156 fields on day one and pegged the average yield at a healthy 48.3 bushels an acre, wrote DTN Markets Editor Katie Micik in Tuesday night's report."
