MARKET SUMMARY

HRS closed 2 to 2 3/4 cents lower, corn finished 4 1/4 to 5 1/4 cents higher, soybeans ended 6 3/4 to 17 1/4 cents higher while canola closed $4.60 to $5.10/mt higher.

OUTSIDE MARKETS

In mid-day trade, the TSX was 140 higher at 15,221 as investors reacted to Bank of Canada commentary and positive economic data from China. The Bank of Canada left steady its 1% overnight lending rate, while downplaying the role of recent inflation data as "temporary" and lightly trimming GDP growth for both 2014 and 2015.
