MARKET SUMMARY

HRS ended 3 3/4 cents lower to 5 3/4 cents higher, corn closed 7 1/2 to 9 cents higher, soybeans finished 11 3/4 cents to 14 1/4 cents higher, while canola closed $2/mt lower to $.90/mt higher.

OUTSIDE COMMODITIES

After Wednesday's record close on the TSX, trade was 16 points lower at 15,093 in early afternoon trade on Thursday, with U.S. markets also facing lower trade. The Canadian dollar was 44 basis points higher at $0.9224 CAD/USD, while the U.S. dollar index was 0.275 lower at 80.395. Gold was $41.90 higher at $1,314.30/ounce. Crude oil was 38 cents ...
