General Comments:

The corn market closed lower Monday as good weather for pollination is forecasted and the majority of the corn conditions in the Corn Belt are near perfect. Also dragging corn down was a lower wheat and soybean market, with corn hitting close to a four-year low by the end of the day session. Soybeans closed sharply lower as weather is also expected to be near ideal conditions for much of the U.S. soybean crop.
