"This must be your Utopia." That was a comment from a coworker earlier this week. She had found me chuckling in glee at the lack of a weekly export sales and shipment report, and the prospect of a possible missed monthly USDA update on Friday, Oct. 11.

(In regard to the latter, the fact the report is required by law could come into play yet.)

She was right. Solely in regard to USDA reports and the markets, not the government shutdown in general, the situation is as close to my ideal as I'll likely see.
