General Comments:

Corn closed 3 cents higher in the September and unchanged in the December. Soybeans closed 21 1/2 cents higher in the August and 8 1/4 cents higher in the November. Wheat closed 4 cents higher in the September Chicago, 3 cents higher in the September Kansas City, and 1/4 cent higher in the September Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is 0.20 lower at 82.76. August gold is up $9.40 at $1,293.60 while September silver is up $0.08 and September copper is up $0.0135.
